Twennie Terms and Conditions
Leader and Group Member Conduct
Twennie is a collaborative professional learning platform. All leaders and group members are expected to engage in good faith, with professionalism, generosity, and respect.
- Respectful Participation: Treat all members with courtesy and professionalism. Disagreement is acceptable; disrespect is not.
- No Harassment or Abuse: Harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, or exclusionary behavior is not tolerated.
- Constructive Collaboration: Learning activities should be approached with openness, generosity, and a willingness to support others.
- Responsible Feedback: Feedback must be relevant, constructive, and aligned with professional growth.
- Accountability: Conflicts should be addressed respectfully. Violations may be reported to Twennie administrators.
Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
Any content you create or upload to Twennie — including articles, videos, interviews, prompt sets, exercises, templates, missions, nuggets, or related learning units — remains your intellectual property.
Submitting content to Twennie grants Twennie a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content solely for learning and development purposes, in accordance with the visibility settings you select.
Content submitted with all-member visibility may be accessed by other Twennie members for learning purposes only. Twennie will not use member-created content for promotional or marketing purposes without explicit consent.
Content Review and Approval
All submitted content is subject to review by Twennie administrators. Approval decisions may consider relevance, educational value, clarity, format, length, and subject matter.
Twennie reserves the right to reject, remove, or request revisions to any content at its discretion. Members may contact Twennie for guidance prior to resubmission.
Visibility Settings and Risk Awareness
Twennie provides three visibility options for content: group-only, organization-only, and all members. You select visibility for each unit you create.
Twennie is a learning platform — not a document repository. Members should never upload proprietary, confidential, competitive, or regulated information under any visibility mode.
Twennie cannot guarantee protection against misuse or infringement once content is visible to others. Members concerned about intellectual property risk should avoid all-member visibility.
Liability and Copyright Responsibility
Twennie is not responsible for plagiarism, misuse, or infringement of member-posted content. Legal enforcement of intellectual property rights remains the sole responsibility of the content creator.
Members agree that Twennie, its administrators, owners, and employees are not liable for losses resulting from content sharing decisions made by members.
Membership Cancellation and Content Retention
Upon cancellation, members may request removal of their submitted content. While deletion tools are not available within the platform, Twennie will honor reasonable deletion requests submitted directly.
Twennie encourages continued inclusion of previously approved content in the learning library, but will not prevent members from publishing or using their content elsewhere.
Citations and External Use
Any use of Twennie member content outside the Twennie platform requires direct permission from the author. Responsibility for proper citation and consent rests with the requesting party.
Learning Activity Reporting
Submitting content or participating in learning activities implies consent for anonymized inclusion in internal analytics and reports, such as completion rates or engagement trends.
No organization or individual will be identified in promotional materials without explicit written consent.
Individual Membership Visibility
Individual members do not belong to groups or organizations. Content shared by individual members is visible only to themselves unless explicitly shared with all members.
Platform Security and Technical Safeguards
Twennie employs industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect user accounts, learning data, and platform integrity. These safeguards include:
- Authentication Controls: Secure login mechanisms, including optional multi-factor authentication (MFA) where available.
- Session Protection: Measures to prevent session hijacking and unauthorized access.
- CSRF Protection: Cross-site request forgery protections for authenticated actions.
- Role-Based Access Controls: Separation of permissions for members, group leaders, administrators, and organization administrators.
- Data Segmentation: Logical separation of group, organization, and all-member content.
- Audit and Monitoring: Administrative oversight and logging to detect misuse or policy violations.
While Twennie takes reasonable steps to secure the platform, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Members are responsible for safeguarding their credentials and choosing appropriate visibility settings.
Your Trust Matters
Twennie exists to support learning, collaboration, and professional growth — not to extract, monetize, or harvest proprietary information. Protecting your trust, your work, and your professional integrity is foundational to the platform.
